Meet Fiddle Fire! This family group specializes in traditional, foot stomping fiddle music, as well as gospel bluegrass performed on fiddles, guitar, string bass, mandolin, hammer dulcimer, spoons, and bones.
We play for established dances, as well as community dances, contra, and square dances. We also do activities for church groups, wedding receptions, corporate parties, and any group wanting to do something different and have fun! Roween also does dance calling and teaches dance.
Luke (age 16), Eve (age 14), and Josiah (age 12) are siblings who all began classical instruction in strings and piano at age 5. In addition to their classical training at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN and Michigan, they have had the privilege of special mentoring with several great folk artists such as Thom Bresh, Tommy Emmanuel, Alex DePue, Stephen Dickey, and Allan Manship.
